How much does it cost?

It depends on the type of event.

Sydney Summer Series - $10 for adults and $7 for juniors.

Autumn Evenings, Moonlight Madness (like the Summer Series but at night by torchlight) - $10 for adults and $7 for juniors.

Sydney Parks Series - $10 for seniors, $7 for juniors and $2 for extra maps.

MetrOLeague - $10 for adults and $7 for juniors.

CATI - Usually about $10 for seniors and $7 for juniors.  Family limit about $20.

State League - The cost differs from event to event but is usually about $20 for seniors, $13 for juniors (13-20), $10 for sub-juniors (12 and under), $55 maximum for a family, $10 for enter on day and $4 to hire an SI Stick. 

Australian 3 Days -  Fees for the 3 days are typically: Seniors $120; Juniors $72; Family $360. Single day entries per day are: Seniors $44; Juniors $26; Family $132.)



Most events charge an extra $3 if you're not member of a club  and $4 to rent an SI Stick -  that's a good reason to join a club after a few events  and buy your own SI Stick  -  it saves money after 10-15 events.


The entry fee covers the cost of preparing and printing the map, setting the course, purchasing the equipment required for the course and the administration and development of the sport of orienteering in Australia.
